By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and acknowledge the practices outlined in our Privacy Policy.

2. Service Description: iCareWellbeing serves as an online therapy service facilitator, connecting users with their desired therapists. We operate as a portal, facilitating your access to speak with a therapist of your choice. It is important to note that iCareWellbeing does not provide the therapy services directly; rather, we act as an intermediary, enabling users to find and connect with their preferred therapists.

3. Limitation of Responsibility: iCareWellbeing explicitly disclaims any responsibility for the interactions and services provided by the therapists. Any issues or disputes that may arise between you and the psychologist you engage with are solely your responsibility. iCareWellbeing shall not be held liable for any actions, omissions, or professional conduct of the psychologists using our platform.

4. Third-Party Payment Processor: iCareWellbeing utilizes Stripe as a third-party payment processing provider. Stripe handles all payment-related transactions securely and independently. Users are encouraged to review Stripe’s terms and privacy policy for information regarding their services.

5. Service Facilitation: Our primary function is to facilitate your access to therapy services by connecting you with your chosen psychologist. While we employ a rigorous vetting process, which includes collecting medical licenses, board certifications, higher diploma information, educational background, professional background details, and references from therapists, it is crucial to note that iCareWellbeing does not assume responsibility for the content, quality, or effectiveness of the therapy sessions. The service provided by the psychologist is entirely separate from our platform.

Additionally, despite our thorough vetting process, it remains your responsibility to double-check any required information regarding the therapist we help connect you to. We encourage users to verify the credentials, licenses, certifications, references, as well as educational and professional backgrounds of the therapists they choose to engage with to ensure they meet your specific requirements and expectations.

The platform’s services do not include the provision of medical care or other professional mental health services by us as operators of the platform. Our role is strictly limited to facilitating communication between you and the counselor and enabling the provision of counseling services. It is up to you to consider and decide whether the services are appropriate for your mental health needs or not.

6. Information Collection: While using our platform, we only collect minimal information necessary to facilitate the matching process between users and therapists. We do not collect data on how users navigate within our platform. The information you provide is used solely to match you with a therapist based on your preferences and needs.

7. Confidentiality Agreement: All information shared by users with iCareWellbeing is handled with utmost confidentiality. We do not collect or store details about your mental health concerns or the content of your therapy sessions. Confidentiality agreements are established directly between you and your chosen therapist.

iCareWellbeing operates as an intermediary, connecting users with therapists for psychological support. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, especially in the UAE, we strongly advise prioritizing your safety by reaching out to the UAE Hotline at https://hope.hw.gov.ae or number 8004673 This hotline is staffed with trained professionals ready to provide immediate assistance.

While our platform is designed for minor or medium psychological services, in cases of severe suicidal thoughts, our commitment to your safety may require us to facilitate a direct connection with a psychiatrist, refer you to the nearest hospital, or provide resources to appropriate hotlines.

It’s important to understand that iCareWellbeing is not a provider of psychological services but serves as a connecting platform. In urgent situations requiring immediate intervention, we reserve the right to take necessary steps to ensure you receive the best and most suitable care. This may involve discontinuing the connection with a therapist to facilitate a more immediate and comprehensive response to your needs.

Transparency is our priority, and we want you to comprehend our role as an intermediary. This information is part of our commitment to being transparent about our platform’s capabilities and limitations.

9. Therapist license or certificate :Therapists facilitated by iCareWellbeing are licensed professionals with a minimum of 3 years of experience in their respective fields. Additionally, therapists with over 20 years of experience are also available.

10. Release of Liability for Injury or Death

You expressly acknowledge and agree that your access, use, and/or involvement with any of the Services, or individuals affiliated with icarewellbeing, may involve potentially dangerous, injurious, and physical undertakings that may lead to, without limitation, personal and/or bodily injury, death, temporary or permanent disability, loss of services, loss of consortium, mental health issues, nutritional issues, or damage to or loss of property or privacy. In participating in these activities, you hereby acknowledge and willingly accept these risks and agree to unconditionally release and hold icarewellbeing harmless from and against all claims, suits, damages, losses, causes of action, costs, expenses, or liability arising out of or related to your access, use, and/or involvement with any Services.

11. icarewellbeing Advice Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that we do not provide or replace any professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and that icarewellbeing cannot be held liable for any medical, health, or any other sort of injury suffered as a result of your use of the Service. Furthermore, you understand and agree to consult a physician prior to engaging in any activities or following any advice provided through the Service to ensure it is suitable for your individual health and circumstances.

12. Refund Policy

1. Session Refunds: Sessions can be refunded before coordination with the therapist. Once coordination has taken place, refunds are no longer available.
2. Subscription Renewals: If your subscription has been renewed, you can request a refund within 48 hours of the renewal. After this period, refunds will not be processed.
3. No Refunds After Sessions: Once a session has occurred or a subscription has been used beyond the initial 48-hour period after renewal, no refunds will be granted.
